CRF Board of Directors Elects Officers

COOPERATIVE RESEARCH FARMS BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTS OFFICERS
Richmond, Virginia – Mr. Michel Brosseau, Special Advisor to Senior Management for La Coop Fédérée, was elected President of the Cooperative Research Farms’ (CRF) Board of Directors, for a two-year term. Mr. Brosseau has been a Director on the CRF Board since 1993. He succeeds Mr. James Moore, Executive Vice President Feed Merchandising and Operations for Southern States Cooperative, Inc. Mr. Moore had led the CRF Board of Directors as President since 2009. The newly elected Vice President is Mr. Paul Kalmbach, President of Kalmbach Feeds. Mr. Kalmbach had previously served as Treasurer. Dr. Roland Brugger, Director Research & Development for Invivo NSA, was voted in as the new Treasurer. CRF’s General Manager Mr. David Ott serves as Secretary. Mr. Brosseau, Mr. Kalmbach, and Mrs. Shelley Revering, Feed Director for Federated Co-operatives, Ltd. were appointed to the Executive Committee of the Board.
Outgoing President James Moore noted that “It has been a privilege to serve as President of CRF for the past six years. The organization is a great asset to animal agriculture and I am confident that Mr. Brosseau will provide excellent leadership for the organization.”
CRF is a multi-national organization of feed manufacturers in North America and Europe. For sixty-one years, CRF members have worked together conducting thousands of nutrition and management related research trials for the benefit of their customers. CRF’s members are: Co-op Atlantic, Moncton, New Brunswick; Federated Co-operatives Limited, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; Invivo Animal Nutrition and Health, St. Nolff, France; Kalmbach Feeds, Inc., Upper Sandusky, Ohio; La Coop Fédérée, Montreal, Quebec; Southern States Cooperative Inc., Richmond, Virginia; and Tennessee Farmers Cooperative, LaVergne, Tennessee. The combined scope of the CRF members represents 300 years of CRF membership, more than 28,580,000 metric tons of final feed equivalents, 106 member owned feed mills manufacturing feeds of the highest quality, 9,200 employees working to provide superior animal nutrition products and 254 highly skilled individuals employed in Research, Development and Technical Support.
